The California Compliant P4 is equipped with a loaded chamber indicator and modified magazine catch which is not reversible. The California model will also come with a DLC barrel and Trijicon front sight.

The Staccato HD line is an entirely new family of pistols, designed with feedback from our elite professional end-users. HD pistols remain true to our heritage while being the most technologically-advanced, thoroughly-tested version of the 2011 platform to date. A complete ergonomics overhaul, new optics mounting system, improved recoil system, and active firing pin block provide a combination of durability and shootability only available in the world's best shooting handgun.

The P4 offers an ideal size in popular demand among both armed professionals and armed citizens alike. It's full-size grip accepts industry-standard 18-round magazines with enough room for all hand sizes. The 4-inch barrel is short enough to conceal easily while still matching the performance of larger service pistols.

Built For Every Demand

The first pistol in the evolved HD family. The P4 is built to meet the demands of the professional user, and the defense needs of the everyday hero. A size that is small enough to conceal but large enough for the job.

Loaded Chamber Indicator
The California Compliant model includes a loaded chamber indicator. This allows shooters to easily identify when a round is loaded into the chamber.
Enhanced Durability
The HD line is rigorously tested for mechanical endurance, reliability, and resistance to harsh environmental conditions, going far beyond industry standards to meet the stringent requirements of America’s elite armed professionals.
Modified Magazine Release
The California Compliant model is equipped with a magazine release disconnect which prevents the trigger from being pulled when the magazine is out of the gun. This cannot be reversed, but can be configured for left hand shooters with the purchase of a left-handed magazine release.
Improved Ergonomics
Narrower grip with no grip safety, higher beavertail, more aggressive "wrap-over" slide serrations, and support-thumb index points create a more comfortable, consistent shooting experience even under adverse conditions.
Ambidextrous Controls
Dual-sided safety and slide stop levers, and mirrored thumb index points mean you can run your pistol in either hand with fully mirrored controls and ergonomics. The California Compliant model does not offer a reversible magazine catch.
HOST Mounting System
New and improved HOST optic mounting system allows the industry's most popular optics to be attached directly to the slide with the use of our spacer plates. This feature lets the HOST use larger, longer optic screws for a more secure attachment to the gun.
Mechanical Firing Pin Block
All HD pistols are equipped with an active firing pin block for increased safety in demanding scenarios.
